PLATE 01 / GALACTIC STRATEGY EXPERIMENT

Markets,
meet orbit.

Build your fleet. Pick a sector. Burn fuel. See what each expedition brings home.

ORBITAL is a fleet strategy game concept inspired by market volatility. This site presents a playable design model, not a trading product.

01 / The premiseTHE PREMISE

When the trading floor closed,
the flight paths opened.

In the imagined year 2088, four stock sectors have replaced the old trading floor. Commanders decide which ships to send, how much fuel to spend, and how much risk to take. Every expedition completes a strategy loop.

01

Crew

Assign hulls and captains with different flight traits.

02

Fuel

Flight time, hull class, and sector risk determine fuel cost.

03

Launch

Fuel is spent at launch, before the expedition begins.

04

Resolve

Calculate the return from the sector’s modeled conditions.

05

Repeat

Review the flight log and reconfigure the next fleet.

02 / FleetTHE FLEET

Three hulls. Three ways to fly.

Harvesters are efficient and steady. Cruisers make quick runs. Flagships trade high fuel costs for fleet-wide support. The strongest fleet is not simply the biggest one.

OF-H1 / HARVESTER

Harvester

A light hull built for long collection runs in calmer sectors. Low cost makes it a dependable foundation.

OF-C2 / CRUISER

Cruiser

A mid-sized hull built for speed. Short flights create more chances to adjust course.

OF-D3 / FLAGSHIP

Flagship

The high-consumption core of a formation. Expensive to launch, but it improves the efficiency of accompanying ships.

03 / SectorsFOUR REGIONS

No two sectors fly alike.

Each sector draws game-design inspiration from the character of a different stock. The figures below are sample parameters, not actual or projected security performance.

04 / EngineFUEL SYSTEM

Fuel is for flying,
not sitting in storage.

Every launch carries a modeled fuel cost. The design splits that cost three ways so you can see how different fleet configurations use resources. These are draft game mechanics, not real tokens or assets.

FIG 02 — Fuel allocation for one simulated expedition

70% is consumed and removed from the model. 20% enters the reward pool, while 10% supports maintenance. Change one ship and the whole flight docket moves.

05 / SimulatorFLIGHT CALCULATOR

Model the fleet before it flies.

Choose a sector, set your ship counts and time window, and get an instant flight docket. Results use fixed design parameters, not market forecasts.
